Trade an Electabuzz holding an Electrizer

To evolve Electabuzz into Electivire, you must trade an Electabuzz holding an Electrizer item to another player. This evolution method is consistent across various Pokémon games, including Sword, Shield, Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, Legends: Arceus, Scarlet, and Violet. Note that the Electrizer will disappear after Electabuzz evolves, and you will need to trade back for Electivire.

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you can obtain the Electrizer in The Indigo Disk DLC by searching the Canyon Biome, finding 130 Pokémon in the Blueberry Pokédex, or purchasing it for 250 BP in the Blueberry Academy School Store.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you can acquire the Electrizer in Jubilife Village by visiting either the Trading Post (for 1,400 MP) or Ginter's Specials (for 5,000 currency). However, Ginter will list the Electrizer as the "Electricity Box" rather than its actual name.

For Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the only way to obtain an Electrizer is by catching an Elekid that is already holding the item. Elekid can be found in locations like the Stargleam Cavern, but it can only be caught in the Brilliant Diamond game. If you have the Shining Pearl version, you will need to trade with someone who owns the opposite game.

Keep in mind that Electivire was introduced in Generation IV, so you won't be able to find an Electrizer in Generation III or earlier games. Additionally, Nintendo has discontinued online services for the DS and 3DS, so trading for Electivire is only possible in the Nintendo Switch Pokémon titles.

Seafolk Village on Poni Island

In Pokémon Sun and Moon, Seafolk Village is a small town in the southwest of Poni Island, made up of travelling ships. It is a tiny place full of cheerful people who have dedicated their lives to exploring the sea. The Poke Mart in Seafolk Village sells TMs, including Calm Mind for 10,000, Blizzard for 30,000, Hyper Beam for 50,000, Solar Beam for 10,000, Thunder for 30,000, Sludge Wave for 10,000, Fire Blast for 30,000, Focus Blast for 30,000, Giga Impact for 50,000, and Stone Edge for 30,000.

The Pokémon Center in Seafolk Village is a great place to rest your Pokémon and stock up on items before taking on the challenges of Poni Island. The man in red in front of the Poke Marts can teach Rayquaza Dragon Ascent, and a trainer near the cafe can teach the Dragon-type move Draco Meteor.

To find an Electrizer in Seafolk Village, head north and take the first left. You will encounter a woman who wants to see a Magneton. She will give you a Paralyze Heal if you have one. Continue on and grab the Totem Sticker on the crate to the left of the Huntail ship entrance. Inside the shop, the man will give you a Magmarizer (used to evolve Magmar) and an Electrizer (used to evolve Electabuzz). Be sure to save your game before speaking to the woman behind him, as she will give you an Aerodactyl, which cannot be bred.

Seafolk Village is also home to a floating restaurant where you can order a Z-Noodle bowl and receive a Heart Scale. Under each table, you can find a Zygarde Cell. In the houseboat opposite the restaurant, a girl will ask if you're a lucky person. Answer truthfully, and she'll give you a Lucky Punch, which increases Chansey's critical hit ratio by two stages. Show the woman sitting on the opposite couch an Alolan Raichu, and she'll give you Raichu's exclusive Z-Crystal, Aloraichium Z.

After becoming a Champion, return to Seafolk Village to engage in a battle and collect some items.

Trade a Magmar for a Magmarizer

To trade a Magmar for a Magmarizer in Pokémon Sun and Moon, you have a few options. One way is to trade with another player who has a Magmarizer and is willing to trade it for your Magmar. You can find potential trading partners on Reddit or other online communities dedicated to Pokémon trading. When setting up a trade, make sure to follow the instructions provided by the other trader and use the correct friend codes to connect with them.

Another way to obtain a Magmarizer is by visiting Poni Island, the fourth island in the game. There, you can find a small ship with a man and his Pelipper. Talk to this NPC, and he will give you a Magmarizer. You can then use this item to evolve your Magmar into Magmortar.

Additionally, you can purchase a Magmarizer from the Battle Tree's shop, located on Poni Island at the end of the game. One of the four old ladies there sells all the item evolutions, including the Magmarizer. Keep in mind that the Magmarizer is a one-time-use item, so if you plan to evolve multiple Magmars, you will need to acquire multiple Magmarizers through trading or purchasing.

It's important to note that trading Pokémon between different versions, such as Ultra Sun and Moon, is possible. However, it's always a good idea to confirm the trade details and ensure that both parties are on the same page to avoid any misunderstandings.

Poni Island's Seafolk Village

Poni Island is a welcome break from the frantic pace of the previous steps in your journey. It is home to the laid-back Seafolk Village, a charming settlement of travelling ships on the southern shores of the island, with a large central tree and some Pokémon-shaped houses.

In the floating shop on the left, you can talk to a man to get a Magmarizer and Electrizer. These items will allow Magmar and Electabuzz to evolve into their final forms if they are traded while holding onto them. You can also speak to the Ace Trainer in the shop to get Aerodactyl, a rare fossil Pokémon.

There is a battle restaurant to the west, where you can eat a meal to earn Heart Scales. There is a green sparkle under the bottom-left table. To the east, a Rising Star will ask if you are a lucky person and will give you a Lucky Punch. A Veteran to the right will reward you if you catch a regional variant Raichu and show it to her in your Pokédex. You can also get TM91 Flash Cannon.

Outside, head across the eastern walkway towards a boat that resembles a Whiscash. Before using the door, check to the left to find Totem Sticker #087. Inside the house, which belongs to Mina, go to the bottom-right corner to find Totem Sticker #088. Going back towards the centre of the village, walk across the western walkway, where Mina is standing. On the other side is a boat shaped like a Wailord, and inside is a restaurant that offers noodles for 500 Poké Dollars and gives 1 Heart Scale for free.

When you're done in the village, head north to the Poni Wilds, a twisting, rural route with trainers, items, and Pokémon to collect.

Eat at the floating restaurant

To find the Electrizer in Pokémon Sun and Moon, you must first make your way to Seafolk Village on Poni Island. This area is accessible after many battles and events in Aether Paradise. Once you arrive in Seafolk Village, head to the northeast part of town, where you'll find a Veteran named Kumu. Trade your Granbull with her to acquire her Shellos. With your newly acquired Granbull, head north to find some grass where Granbull can be found. Capture a Granbull here and trade it with Kumu for her Shellos.

Now that you have both a Granbull and a Shellos, it's time to make your way to the floating restaurant. It is located to the left side of Seafolk Village. This unique dining establishment offers a delightful dish known as Z-Noodles. Indulge in the culinary delights of the floating restaurant, and as a bonus, you'll receive an extra item just for dining there!

After satisfying your hunger, exit the restaurant and continue your journey southward. You'll encounter a floating shop situated on a boat with an intriguing shape resembling two Huntails. Step inside this aquatic-themed shop and engage in conversation with the person within to obtain your much-anticipated Electrizer. But that's not all; you can also receive a Magmarizer and even interact with an Ace Trainer to acquire an Aerodactyl.

As you venture further east, you'll stumble upon a vessel shaped like a Steelix—a sight to behold. Board this vessel and navigate to the eastern section, where a Rising Star eagerly awaits. They will ask if you consider yourself a lucky person, and if you respond affirmatively, a Lucky Punch will be yours. The opportunities in Seafolk Village abound, and your dedication to reaching the floating restaurant has paid off with an Electrizer in hand.
